The Squat Machine targets your lower-body. Specifically, it allows you to work on your Quadriceps and Gluteal muscles.
Load an appropriate weight evenly on both sides of the machine
Stand directly underneath the shoulder pads with legs shoulder width apart and straighten legs to the standing position
Keeping the back as straight as possible, slowly descend into the squat position, going no lower than a 90 degree bend at the knees.
Keep the heels in contact with the floor and do not raise onto the ball of the foot as you squat
Inhale as you slowly descend into the squat
Exhale as you return back up to the starting position.
Perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps
